Senior Operations Manager

The key to success in this role lies in effectively connecting clients, suppliers, and the internal team. A Project Coordinator plays a crucial part in operational success, requiring strong organisational skills and commercial acumen.
Responsibilities:- Contract management, purchasing, and supplier negotiations are essential aspects of this position.
- Coordinating materials, resources, schedules, and deliveries is critical for keeping projects on track.
- Oversight of accounts, including invoicing, purchase orders, payables/receivables, supplier accounts, and debtor follow-up.
- Preparing cash flow forecasts, budgets, and monthly summaries requires attention to detail.
- Maintaining compliance records, such as insurance, registrations, and licenses, ensures adherence to regulations.
A successful candidate will build strong client and supplier relationships by acting as a trusted, responsive contact and resolving issues proactively.
Requirements:- Experience in project coordination, contracts administration, or similar roles (construction, engineering, or equipment hire experience beneficial).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with ERP/CRM systems advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A commercial mindset - confident in contracts, accounts, and supplier dealings.
- Natural relationship-builder with excellent communication skills.
- Clear pathway into leadership roles within operations, sales, or project management.
- Exposure to the wider business, developing strong commercial and management skills.
