Role Overview

About the Role
This is a challenging yet rewarding role where you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient day-to-day administration of applications for works and activities on the State Road network in accordance with relevant legislation.

You will provide advice to customers on the application process, deal with customers in a credible, friendly, professional and timely manner, and work collaboratively with other members of the Policy, Legislation and Approvals team to effectively manage the overall approvals workload.

As part of this role, you will also undertake ad hoc / periodic support to the Manager Policy, Legislation and Approvals by undertaking testing of new and existing online application forms relating to approvals activities, supporting the development and implementation of business improvements, and undertaking special duties within your capabilities or for developmental purposes.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective and efficient day-to-day administration of applications for works and activities on the State Road network in accordance with relevant legislation.
- Provide advice to customers on the application process and deal with customers in a credible, friendly, professional and timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Policy, Legislation and Approvals team to effectively manage the overall approvals workload.
- Undertake ad hoc / periodic support to the Manager Policy, Legislation and Approvals.
