Children’s Program Leader

This is a permanent and full-time role with some flexibility for working from home in between service times. You will start off with a 5-week induction program to set you up for success, with incredible support from a mentor, and regional manager.

  • Build strong relationships with schools and partners on school events and community engagement
  • Enjoy autonomy and creative freedom to plan and deliver enriching experiences every day
  • Foster fun relationships with children and their families that connect, inspire, and delight
  • Manage and roster your team of passionate educators
  • Manage compliance and medical documentation
  • Be the key person connecting TeamKids with the school community

Service times: 7:00am - 9:00am, 2:30pm - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday + 10.5 admin hours per week.

Requirements
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a genuine love for kids
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident interpersonal skills, no matter if you're talking with a child, their parent, one of your team or the school principal
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
  • You are a natural leader with attention to detail
  • Have a sincere interest in creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children
  • You are energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have fun
  • Qualified or studying towards an ACECQA-approved qualification This includes teaching degrees, education support, children's services, early childhood education, sports science, youth work….and more.
