Director of Strategic Oversight

This leadership role requires a visionary leader to provide strategic oversight, ensure strong governance, and champion innovation. The Director will contribute to the delivery of our new strategic plan and have the opportunity to progress to Chair or Deputy Chair.

  • Apply organisational values and fundamentals in Board decision-making
  • Work collaboratively with senior executives to set and progress strategic direction
  • Provide expertise in aged care, disability, children's services, or similar sectors
  • Oversee risk management, governance, and budget monitoring
  • Influence and develop policy to strengthen community outcomes

About You

We are seeking candidates with:

  • Previous experience as a Board Director, Chair, or Deputy Chair
  • Strong strategic thinking, governance, and leadership skills
  • A strong connection to regional and rural communities in Australia
  • Sector expertise in aged care, disability, or children's services
  • Lived experience in community services, healthcare, or education sectors
