About the Psychology and Neuropsychology Department

The Psychology Department at Austin Health is committed to promoting the highest levels of care for our patients. As a team based in General Health, we work with a range of medical specialists and allied health professionals in multidisciplinary teams across the hospital where our neuropsychology services are highly valued.

About this Role

This Clinical Neuropsychology Registrar program offers a unique opportunity to acquire skills and experience in a wide variety of clinical presentations and gain endorsement as a Clinical Neuropsychologist. You will rotate through a number of services, including acute inpatient, outpatient, subacute, and rehabilitation settings, as well as specialist services such as neurology, neurosurgery, epilepsy, general medical and surgical units, aged-care, mental health, and acquired brain injury.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring a Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Neuropsychology, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Psychology Board of Australia, eligibility to commence or have commenced a Registrar program for Endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology, an interest in gaining experience working in a hospital setting across a range of different clinical areas, and high-level interpersonal and communication skills.
