Job Description

A newly created role will see you build bespoke engaging content to steward and engage corporates, high net worth individuals, and foundations. This is a unique position that will see you collaborate and liaise with inter-departments to create and build engaging and customised content that will be shared with key prospects.

You will bring excellent marketing expertise to translate a complex range of products into impactful and bespoke collateral, pitch decks, and cases for support to engage key donors.

The Marketing & Engagement Executive is a critical role in supporting the Strategic Relationships team to help build and maintain remarkable supporter relationships with a focus on fundraising marketing excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of collateral and resources to be utilised by the Strategic Relationships team and the broader fundraising team in liaison with the MarComms content team.
  • Support Strategic Relationship Managers (SRMs) and the Philanthropy Manager to deliver existing partner agreements, prepare, review & finalise new partnership proposals, MOUs and agreements.
  • Pull together first drafts and work with SR team members to refine into final drafts that captures the spirit held within that partnership.
  • Coordinate partnership renewals and support through negotiations with existing partners and assist them with strategies to increase partnerships revenue.
  • Co-ordinate processes that enable the team to maintain connections with key supporters and cultivate relationships.
  • Utilise Salesforce, Campaign Monitor, and work with the MarComms team to leverage social media platforms to amplify messages to attract partners and maintain their engagement.
  • Salesforce management and reporting.
  • Automation for SR team marketing-based processes such as eDMs and donor journeys.
  • Event coordination including collating potential invitee lists from the CRM, coordinating the RSVP list, other operational event management, event communications, key event collateral, supporting video production and speech writing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Demonstrated marketing prowess with strong preference to fundraising marketing and communications experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to write impactful copy.
  • Experience and understanding of marketing principles, especially in a fundraising capacity.
  • Ability to develop fundraising marketing processes and a digital flair.
  • Experience using tools such as Campaign Monitor/Hubspot.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with and harnessing creative agencies.
  • Passion for developing and maintaining workflows, systems and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail, data handling and database process compliance.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • A self-starter, disciplined and determined approach.
  • Passion and interest to work in the NFP sector.
