About the Payroll Role

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to manage our payroll operations using ELMO (Keypay) software.

As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while providing exceptional support and customer service to leaders and employees across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process fortnightly and monthly payroll, including off-cycle payments as required.
  • Monitor and manage the payroll inbox, responding to all payroll-related queries.
  • Support payroll audits as requested.
  • Follow up on necessary pre-payroll authorizations, such as leave requests, approved timesheets, pay adjustments, and employee allowances.
  • Compile and maintain payroll reports.
  • Develop key relationships within the organization.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience using ELMO (Keypay platform) payroll system.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy while processing payroll.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Working knowledge of current payroll practices, including roster management, leave accruals, and TOIL accruals.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Previous experience working within the mining/resources industry is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work autonomously while building collaborative relationships.
  • Ability to analyze and communicate financial information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
