About the Payroll Role
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to manage our payroll operations using ELMO (Keypay) software.
As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while providing exceptional support and customer service to leaders and employees across the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Process fortnightly and monthly payroll, including off-cycle payments as required.
- Monitor and manage the payroll inbox, responding to all payroll-related queries.
- Support payroll audits as requested.
- Follow up on necessary pre-payroll authorizations, such as leave requests, approved timesheets, pay adjustments, and employee allowances.
- Compile and maintain payroll reports.
- Develop key relationships within the organization.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Experience using ELMO (Keypay platform) payroll system.
- High attention to detail and accuracy while processing payroll.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Working knowledge of current payroll practices, including roster management, leave accruals, and TOIL accruals.
- Working knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements.
- Previous experience working within the mining/resources industry is highly regarded.
- Ability to work autonomously while building collaborative relationships.
- Ability to analyze and communicate financial information.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
