Payroll Specialist Opportunity

This is an exciting role for a skilled and experienced payroll professional to join a dynamic organisation in the Perth CBD. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes for approximately 170 employees across multiple cycles.

About the Role

In this hands-on position, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with relevant awards, enterprise agreements, tax, and superannuation obligations, as well as maintain accurate payroll records and reports.

You will also handle employee queries regarding payroll, entitlements, and deductions, coordinate with internal departments for onboarding, offboarding, and leave management, and liaise with external bodies as required.

  • Process and manage full-function payroll for all staff
  • Ensure compliance with relevant awards, enterprise agreements, tax, and superannuation obligations
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, reports, and reconciliations
  • Handle employee queries regarding payroll, entitlements, and deductions
  • Coordinate with internal departments for onboarding, offboarding, and leave management
  • Liaise with external bodies (e.g., ATO, super funds) as required
  • Generate payroll reports for internal stakeholders
About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess a proven track record in end-to-end payroll processing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing
  • Ability to manage payroll across multiple cycles (fortnightly/monthly)
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, tax, and superannuation
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
