This key leadership position plays a pivotal role in shaping best practice standards across services within the PBS stream. You will mentor and support fellow practitioners, provide expert guidance, and ensure quality outcomes that make a difference in people's lives.
As a leader, you will continue to deliver behaviour support services directly to your caseload of clients, while also guiding practice and influencing decision-making through co-working, clinical intake appointments, and reviewing complex reports and plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide supervision and mentoring opportunities for Behaviour Support Practitioners.
- Deliver evidence-based behaviour support services while balancing indirect responsibilities such as guiding practice, influencing decision-making, and ensuring quality outcomes.
- Contribute to staff development and enhance training/induction programs within the behaviour support stream.
- Evaluate and recommend assessment and intervention tools aligned with clinical standards.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, restrictive practices legislation, and internal policies.
- Develop and review complex Behaviour Support Plans in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with leaders to support quality service delivery and integrated multidisciplinary practice.
- Contribute to national clinical projects and participate in relevant meetings and forums.
- Support performance review processes and maintain high-quality documentation.
