Cyber Security Professional Opportunity

This is a high profile opportunity within the Federal Government department to engage an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to conduct cyber risk assessments and deliver key system authorisations on behalf of the department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, testing and assessing relevant security controls in line with agency policies and guidelines, analysing and documenting security risk and recommending modifications to security practices and procedures utilising expertise and security knowledge.
They will utilise relationship management strategies with stakeholders to achieve goals within the department and contribute to projects and programs within the department by reviewing and developing security artefacts such as Threat and Risk Assessments and System Security Plans.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with risk and information security frameworks, policies and standards, strong stakeholder management skills and experience managing complex relationships with stakeholders, experience in security threat and risk assessment, and prior experience in Federal Government beneficial.

Estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications.
