Infinite Consulting seeks a Cyber Security Analyst to augment its operations team in Canberra. This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the company's cyber security capabilities.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.

Job Description

The Cyber Security Analyst will play a crucial role in monitoring the ICT environment and key systems to identify and remediate cyber security-related incidents. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collecting and analysing cyber security-related data to identify the root of attacks;
  • Implementing required cyber security actions to counter attacks and restore system operations;
  • Collaborating with the internal ICT team and business areas to communicate about security limitations and produce documentation or reports;
  • Conducting threat hunting exercises and providing threat intelligence to the team;
  • Mentoring and training as identified;
  • Assisting in the development of standard operating procedures related to cyber security incident response.

The ideal candidate will have experience using Sentinel or a similar SIEM solution, familiarity with the Australian Government Information Security Manual, and best practice cyber security monitoring processes.

Requirements
  • Active NV1 security clearance;
  • Possession of a relevant degree or equivalent work experience;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
