Strategic Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive business growth and innovation as a strategic leader.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Strategy and Planning to partner with senior leaders and shape the company's future. The successful candidate will be at the centre of strategic planning, governance, and high-level stakeholder engagement across diversified operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of commercial strategies, embedding strategic frameworks and ensuring initiatives align with business priorities.
  • Oversee market intelligence, business case development, and new product innovation while providing critical insights that support executive decision-making.
  • Develop and embed strategic planning frameworks, translating business strategy into clear priorities and execution roadmaps.
  • Identify, assess, and pilot new product opportunities that align with commercial viability and strategic goals.
  • Chair governance forums, track initiatives against value targets, and ensure strategic risks are effectively managed.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team culture while influencing leadership capability across the business.

Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience in strategy, corporate development, or management consulting.
  • Strong background in strategic planning, M&A, and business case development.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Financial services, asset leasing, or capital-intensive industry experience highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to deliver insights through competitor analysis, market intelligence, and commercial modelling.
  • Skilled in strategic frameworks (OKRs, SWOT, scenario planning) with advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • A collaborative and resilient leadership style with strong commercial acumen and risk awareness.
