Exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to provide technical and application support to customers. This role may be based in either Sydney or Melbourne and supports customer base across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to the Field Applications Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to internal/external customers and further assisting Account Managers (pre and post sales). Significant travel is a requirement of this role and industry knowledge and professional affiliations will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-field application, training support, and troubleshooting to internal/external customers
  • Develop training programs for organisational members and customers
  • Conduct system seminars, installations, training, and connectivity solutions
  • Provide high-level technical support to customers
  • Support new product launches
  • Support sales personnel pre and post sale
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3+ years technical experience in a life science laboratory with strong technical understanding of laboratory procedures and changing trends
  • Minimum qualification PhD in Life Sciences and/or an associated discipline
  • Superior technical and application knowledge of life science methodologies and data management software
  • Proactive and passionate about maintaining a high standard of support
  • Superior presentation and training skills
  • Molecular Biology background - qPCR
  • Western Blotting and imaging
  • Experience with Bio-Rad instruments/software is highly advantageous
