Petroleum Industry Mechanical Engineering Team Lead

Are you a hands-on leader with passion for mechanical engineering?
About the Role- This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a dedicated team of technicians in the petroleum industry.
We are seeking a dynamic individual to develop and review field operations requirements, establish work measurement programs, analyse workforce utilisation, and execute/supervise construction and maintenance of plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop labour utilisation standards based on job data analysis;
- Analyse operational data and schedules to optimise team and equipment efficiencies;
- Interpret and verify mechanical and hydraulic equipment design related to the petroleum industry;
- Develop specifications for underground petroleum storage systems;
- Organise project delivery, including labour, materials, plant/product, and equipment;
- Establish policies and standards for Field Operations, quality control, testing, inspection, and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations.
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
- Proven experience in Mechanical Engineering and demonstrated leadership skills;
- Strong organisational and project management abilities;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to analyse and optimise workforce utilisation and schedules;
- Years of experience in the petroleum industry.
