Eligibility and Career Opportunities:

As a petroleum engineering graduate, you'll be eligible for both Subsurface Engineering and Drilling & Completions Engineering Streams.

Subsurface Engineering:

  • Characterise the recovery of hydrocarbons from the reservoir, and explore optimisation strategies
  • Contribute to most stages of the asset lifecycle: exploration, appraisal, development, and production
  • Engage in day-to-day tasks including analysing reservoir and production data, creating and updating analytical and reservoir simulation computer models, and forecasting future production and reserves

Drilling & Completions Engineering:

  • Collaborate with the area asset team to prepare well designs, cost estimates, and detailed operational guidelines for new and existing wellbores
  • Support incident response, project management, field supervision, and cost/invoice review
