Compassionate Women's Health Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Women's Health Nurse to join our team in Melbourne CBD. As a key member of our multidisciplinary clinic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients and supporting our dedicated clinicians.
- You will assist with medical procedures including IUD insertions, Colposcopy and biopsies, and provide post-procedure support and assistance to patients as required.
- You will conduct phone consultations with patients to provide education and support relevant to their needs in the specialized area of women's health.
- You will communicate pathology and other test results to patients, including follow-ups as necessary.
- You will coordinate patient reminders and recalls as directed by clinicians.
- You will liaise with relevant stakeholders such as pathology groups, radiology, and other medical providers.
- You will ensure sterilization, Infection Control, OH&S compliance within appropriate timeframes and in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and Legislation.
- You will support the nursing team and multi-disciplinary team in clinic to meet varying demands as required.
- Qualified RN Div 1 with current registration with APHRA, with relevant experience in Practice Nursing and knowledge of sterilisation techniques.
- Passionate about women's health.
- Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to patient care.
- Good knowledge of women's health issues and organizations supporting women's health in Australia.
- Well-developed computer skills including MS Office Suite.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external stakeholders.
