Lead Cancer Research Physician

This role offers an exceptional chance for a medical professional to contribute to the advancement of cancer treatment by working with a large academic medical oncology unit.
As a Clinical Trials Fellow, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to patients enrolled in phase I, phase II, and phase III cancer clinical trials across various tumor streams.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical care to patients on cancer clinical trials
- Participate in translational research projects and collaborate with colleagues
- Contribute to administrative tasks, including metric collection and presentation
- Participate in after-hours on-call services
About You:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic physician with a passion for improving medical oncology services. Strong communication and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
- Requirements:
- Registration with AHPRA
- Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications (MBBS or equivalent)
- RACP trainee or junior consultant of relevant Medical Oncology College
- Working with Children's Certificate
- Membership with RACP
- Broad experience in oncology medicine
- Clinical experience in solid organ tumors
- Current Drivers Licence
