Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Our team specializes in studying the dynamics and regulation of epigenetic plasticity in stem cell and cancer cell models.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, conducting and analyzing experiments to fulfill the aims of the project. This will involve working closely with our team to understand the underlying biology of cancer and developing innovative solutions to improve treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and conduct experiments to investigate the dynamics and regulation of epigenetic plasticity in stem cell and cancer cell models.
  • Analyze and interpret experiment results to identify patterns and trends that can inform our understanding of cancer biology.
  • Participate in discussions, lab meetings and program meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field and share knowledge and expertise.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in molecular biology, cell biology or a related field. You should also have excellent experimental design and data analysis skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
