Automation Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned automation professional with expertise in Power Platform to drive business efficiency and streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement automated workflows using Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Power Platform tools to enhance process efficiency.
  • Configure and deploy automation solutions for enterprise-level processes using Microsoft Copilot Studio to ensure seamless integration and scalability.
  • Utilize AI Builder, Cognitive Services, and Generative AI capabilities to create intelligent and data-driven workflows that meet security, governance, and compliance standards.
  • Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and support for automation solutions to maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions within an agile environment that promotes collaboration and innovation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse to automate business processes and integrate systems.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Copilot Studio for developing enterprise-grade automation solutions that drive business outcomes.
  • Experience with AI Builder, Cognitive Services, and Generative AI within the Power Platform to create intelligent workflows that meet business needs.
  • Knowledge of security, governance, and compliance practices in enterprise solutions, especially in regulated industries like banking, to ensure secure and reliable operations.
  • Experience working in agile teams, delivering solutions within sprints and collaborating closely with stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Microsoft certifications in Power Platform or Azure would be advantageous, but not necessary.
