Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Health and Safety Advisor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert health and safety compliance advice to operational management and supporting personnel in achieving safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Lead incident investigations and reporting processes
  • Conduct regular site visits and audits in accordance with the established audit schedule
  • Drive proactive initiatives to promote H&S and continuously improve business performance
  • Maintain visibility across the workplace by building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders through regular site visits
  • Contribute to projects aimed at improving overall safety performance of the business
Required Qualifications
  • Formal qualification in WHS (Certificate 4 or greater) and relevant industry experience
  • Proven experience with ICAM or TapRoot methodologies
  • Excellent influencing skills with ability to engage with various levels of an organisation
  • Working knowledge and understanding of relevant WHS legislation including Chain of Responsibility
  • Valid Australian driver's licence
