Machine Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operations Specialist to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machinery maintenance and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The Machine Operations Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.

  • Identifying and reporting any issues or defects with equipment, and collaborating with other teams to resolve problems.

  • Developing and implementing procedures for maintaining equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.

  • Providing training and guidance to junior staff members on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a heavy industries environment.

  • Excellent knowledge of machine maintenance principles and practices, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.

  • ECITB TMJI certification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
