Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Strategic Direction: Manage and oversee the strategic focus of activities, investigations or projects in accordance with policy guidelines.
  • Project Development and Implementation: Develop, implement and review plans for conducting investigations and/or projects, allocating resources effectively and monitoring expenditure.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Identify suitable resolutions for identified issues and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare and review internal and external documents, including staff papers, notices, correspondence, reports and media releases.
  • Relationship Building and Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience in managing investigations and/or projects efficiently and effectively is required. The ability to undertake objective analysis to support evidence-based decision making is necessary.

Requirements:
  • You will have comprehensive knowledge of consumer protection laws and regulations, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CCA).
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to guide and develop staff.
