Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Retail Manager to lead the execution and operational performance of our retail business, focusing on acquiring, servicing, and retaining commercial and industrial customers.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership & Growth Execution:
- Develop and implement a growth strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
- Drive customer acquisition and revenue growth through innovative market offerings and strategic partnerships.
- Sales & Business Development:
- Lead and grow the retail sales function.
- Cultivate key relationships with large energy customers, consultants, brokers, and industry stakeholders.
- Commercial Performance:
- Manage the retail profit and loss statement, ensuring sustained volume growth, gross margin optimization, and disciplined cost control.
- Customer Experience & Operations:
- Oversee account management, billing, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Regulatory & Compliance:
- Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks.
Requirements
- 8+ years' experience in the Australian energy sector, with experience in leadership roles in electricity retail.
- Proven experience leading commercial and industrial market strategy and delivering strong growth outcomes.
