Role Overview

A rapidly growing technology company is seeking a driven Business Development Manager with 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in custom software or technology.

This is an opportunity to lead and shape the company's sales efforts while working directly with the CEO and executive team. Your insights will directly influence the company's growth strategy.

You'll need a strong network and solid understanding of the business and technology landscape, plus a proven track record of hitting revenue targets.

Your communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, combined with knowledge of SaaS, cloud platforms, and software development, will help you build lasting client relationships and deliver solutions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, focusing on mid-sized enterprises and government projects.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, developing strategic partnerships for long-term growth
  • Lead client engagement from discovery sessions through to proposal development and deal closure
  • Work with the technical and delivery teams to craft tailored software solutions
  • Represent the company at industry events, tech expos, and networking forums to build the brand and generate leads
  • Keep CRM records current and provide regular pipeline reports and market insights to the executive team
  • Help shape the company's go-to-market strategy by sharing market feedback and identifying new industry opportunities
