Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Platform Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying and managing Windows systems infrastructure and associated services across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Windows systems infrastructure and associated services such as Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS services, etc.
  • Develop and automate system processes to reduce manual intervention and minimize operational overhead.
  • Utilize scripting and programming languages to automate tasks.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar technologies.
  • Participate in incident management processes, quickly identifying and resolving issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent future incidents.
  • Analyze and optimize system performance using monitoring and logging tools.
  • Improve response times and decrease downtime.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to enhance security, reliability and scalability.
  • Monitor infrastructure and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience leveraging automation to manage Windows systems and infrastructure.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Strong technical experience implementing, managing and supporting windows systems infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Powershell).
  • Able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities.
