Job Overview

The Residence Manager is a pivotal role in establishing a secure, supportive, and comfortable living environment for residents.

  • Leadership Role: Oversee key positions within the Residence, encompassing clinical, environmental, catering, lifestyle, and administration sectors. This entails hiring, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a well-rounded and efficient team.
  • Resident Care: Collaborate with clinical staff to provide high-quality care that addresses residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Budget Planning: Develop and manage budgets to effectively allocate resources in support of resident and staff requirements while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
  • Quality Enhancement: Implement quality improvement initiatives to elevate the overall standard of care and services provided to residents.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing aged care facilities.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, their families, staff, and external stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and foster a positive and transparent environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership and management experience in aged care or a related field.
