We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation in Alice Springs, NT.

About the Role

The Congress Early Childhood Centre delivers high-quality education, nutrition, and care to children attending the Ampe Kenhe Apmere Congress Childcare. Our Centre uses a bi-cultural adaptation of the Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a).

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports the learning and development of our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality education and care to children aged 0-5 years
  • Develop and implement engaging and culturally responsive programs that meet the individual learning styles of our children
  • Work collaboratively with our Centre Manager and other educators to ensure the smooth operation of the Centre
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of our children and staff

Requirements

  • Qualification in Children's Services or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA or the willingness to commence
  • Demonstrated experience caring for children aged 0-5 years
  • Ability to interpret and apply information about how children learn and develop in practical ways
  • Ability to interpret and apply information provided about a diverse range of positive teaching strategies that meet the individual learning styles of the different children
