Senior Workplace Health and Wellness Strategist

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workplace health, safety and wellness with experience in developing and implementing global health and wellness programs.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the health and wellbeing of employees and customers. As a Workplace Health, Safety and Wellness Specialist, you will be responsible for developing strategy and providing technical subject matter expertise in the development of psychosocial risk and work design strategy across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategy and provide technical subject matter expertise in the development of psychosocial risk and work design strategy across Australia
- Assist the Manager to ensure delivery of Health, Safety and Wellness performance in line with personal, team and functional goals and objectives
- Support the implementation of WHS and Wellness programs within site operations
- Participate in incident investigation process, especially those related to psychosocial-related or mental health injuries
- Ensure that WHS systems are kept accurate at all time with completed incident reports and all required supporting documentation
- Coordinating, training and coaching team members as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, behavioural health, public health, health science or a related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience, ideally in an occupational setting
- Knowledge of Workplace/Occupational Health and Safety legislation
- Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills
