We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Expert to join our Front Office team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering an exceptional guest experience, providing seamless and memorable interactions that make our guests feel valued and cared for.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide outstanding guest service, including check-in and check-out, upselling, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist guests with requests, such as providing directions or recommendations, to enhance their stay with us.
- Communicate effectively with the team and other departments to maintain good relations and improve team engagement, ensuring a positive and supportive work environment.
- Champion the arrival experience, greeting all guests and recognizing regular guests and loyalty program members, to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle guest complaints and provide service recovery when applicable, ensuring that our guests feel heard and valued.
- Process check-in/check-out functions, including general cashiering and processing of guest accounts, with accuracy and efficiency.
- Be knowledgeable about the hotel and its surroundings to make thoughtful recommendations to guests, enhancing their overall experience.
- Use safety equipment and follow safety procedures as directed, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our guests and staff.
- Understand hotel product offerings to effectively explain to guests, promoting our services and amenities.
What We Need From You:
- Excellent personal presentation and positive energy, with a focus on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Proven skills in guest relations, problem solving, and time management, with a ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Previous Front Office/Reception experience in a luxury environment focused on attentive guest service, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles and practices.
- Team Player - working across all Departments to deliver Great Hotels Guest Love.
- Attention to detail - creating amazing guest service moments with the team.
- Flexibility - working weekends and public holidays is required, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- The ability to work AM and PM shifts, including on weekends and public holidays, with a flexible approach to scheduling and workload.
