Dynamic Senior Anaesthetist Role Mount Isa

Key to the success of our anaesthetic services is the provision of high-quality patient care. We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Anaesthetist) to join our team at Mount Isa Hospital.
Responsibilities:- Provide anaesthetic services to patients with exceptional skill and compassion
- Develop areas of clinical interest within anaesthesia, including obstetrics and regional care
- Participate in quality improvement opportunities to support continued improvement of health services
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
The ideal candidate will possess skills in epidurals for delivery suite and anaesthesia for obstetrics, as well as experience in Intensive Care management of patients. A Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) and current registration with/or eligible for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia are also required.
Requirements:- Relevant tertiary degree qualification
- Appropriate registration/licences
- Skills in epidurals for delivery suite and anaesthesia for obstetrics
- Experience in Intensive Care management of patients
