Permanent Specialist Anaesthetist Opportunity

Role Overview:
At Mount Isa Hospital, we seek a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist (Anaesthetist) to contribute to our multidisciplinary team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for growth and expertise in anaesthesia, including obstetrics, regional care, ICU, perioperative medicine, pain management, medical education, and wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in epidurals for delivery suite and anaesthesia for obstetrics, with a desirable scope of practice in paediatric anaesthesia.
They will also be expected to have experience in Intensive Care management of patients, as well as regional anaesthesia and acute/chronic pain management.
Mandatory requirements include Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) and current registration with/or eligibility for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
A relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences are essential.
