Anaesthetist Opportunity in Mount Isa

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled anaesthetist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in Mount Isa.
We are seeking a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Anaesthetist) to provide anaesthetic services and participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in anaesthesia, including obstetrics and regional, ICU, perioperative medicine, pain management, medical education, and wellbeing.
A permanent role is on offer with job security and flexible hours / roster arrangements negotiable. Professional development opportunities and a generous remuneration package are also available.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide high-quality anaesthetic services to patients
- To participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes
- To contribute to the development of clinical interests within anaesthesia
Requirements:
- Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA)
- Current registration with/or eligible for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia
- Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences
