Technical Engineering Manager Lead

Job Description:
As a senior technical leader, you will oversee the engineering functions within our Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). Your primary responsibility will be to ensure regulatory compliance under CASR Part 42, maintain aircraft safety, and support internal and external engineering services. You will be the key escalation point for operational technical issues, guiding strategic decisions on fleet maintenance, upgrades, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the Technical Services and Reliability engineering functions
- Ensure regulatory compliance with CASR Part 42 and Continuing Airworthiness requirements
- Maintain aircraft safety and support internal and external engineering services
- Guide strategic decisions on fleet maintenance, upgrades, and support
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams and build technical capability
Requirements:
You must have a strong understanding of CASA Part 42 regulations and Continuing Airworthiness requirements. You should also have technical knowledge and experience from aircraft OEMs Airbus, Bombardier, and/or Boeing. A minimum of 10 years in aircraft engineering and/or maintenance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, is required. You should be able to manage approved maintenance programs and implement Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM).
