Technical Leadership Position

As a Technical Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in driving technical innovation and leadership across our organization. Inspired by our mission to deliver impactful solutions through technology and engineering, we are seeking an experienced professional to lead our airborne research and development efforts.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the success of our organization. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership on complex programs, managing stakeholder relationships, and developing compelling technical strategies to drive business growth.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical planning and strategy development to support business growth and innovation.
  • Provide technical leadership on airborne research and development projects, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with customers, vendors, partners, and senior stakeholders in a global context.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong technical skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Tertiary Education: A tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline is essential.
  • Chartered Engineer: Eligibility to be certified as a Chartered Engineer through Engineers Australia or similar is required.
  • Systems Engineering: Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle management, including Mandated System Reviews, is necessary.
  • Complex Program Delivery: Experience delivering complex technical development and integration (hardware and/or software) programs is essential.
