About the Role

The Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Officer to join their team. As a key member of the Corporate Division, you will play a critical role in supporting the operational and strategic goals of the VSBA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate timely and detailed reporting on complex infrastructure projects across the portfolio.
  • Work collaboratively with various program areas to manage information and processes, acting as a key point of contact for multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the integrity and reliability of VSBA's delivery practices to improve transparency and efficiency of portfolio-wide reporting.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements for delivery through automation and process improvement.
  • Provide expert advice on asset data concepts and usage, and contribute to a range of projects as a subject matter expert.
  • Analyse data to articulate trends, provide rationale for variances, and develop recommendations for embedding insights from analysis to drive action.
Requirements
  • High degree of autonomy and self-motivation to produce results through collaboration.
  • Strong systems thinking, pragmatic problem-solving, initiative, resourcefulness, and a deep understanding of the value of design in communicating complex ideas.
  • Understanding of project and risk management practices, in addition to strong stakeholder engagement skills.
