About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Officer to join our team in the Office of the Deputy Secretary. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex projects across the division and organisation.

The Senior Project Officer will provide integrated communication and project management support to the Division, in line with the strategic priorities, initiatives and projects. This will involve preparing and presenting detailed reports, briefs and project plans on complex cross-divisional issues and priorities.

The role requires the ability to exercise sound judgement and coordinate relevant information to ensure consistency and innovation are applied to integrated communication and engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present detailed reports, briefs and project plans on complex cross-divisional issues and priorities.
  • Provide authoritative, operational and strategic advice on the management of requests from the Secretary's office, ministerial offices, and key stakeholders across the department.
  • Maintain confidentiality and display sound judgement when managing sensitive information and issues.
  • Coordinate relevant information to ensure consistency and innovation are applied to integrated communication and engagement strategies.
