The Role
  • Assist the Director of Service in providing an exceptional experience for the children in our care, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement engaging experiences that align with the preferences of the children in your program, fostering a sense of belonging and happiness.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Engage with parents, providing support and assistance whenever possible, promoting open communication and trust.
  • Collaborate with the school community, attending events and assemblies when necessary, representing the organization with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Interact with primary school-aged children, building meaningful relationships and creating lasting memories.

You
  • Are passionate about working with children, possessing a contagious energy and enthusiasm that brings joy to those around you.
  • Are a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills, able to think critically and creatively in fast-paced environments.
  • Have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
  • Possess outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex ideas simply and effectively.
  • Are seeking stable, permanent part-time hours - up to 25 per week, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
  • Hold a recognized qualification in Victoria, with a focus on ACECQA-recognized certifications.
