**About the Role**

We have been awarded multiple projects under the Social Housing Growth Fund initiative and are working towards delivering on our promise to provide safe, secure, and affordable homes that allow people to live life well, have a sense of belonging and achieve their life goals.

As a **Resident and Community Engagement Coordinator** based in our Moonee Ponds office, you will be integral to delivering the Affordable Housing Rental Scheme, working with our residents and connecting them to community, with a view to maintaining renter satisfaction through high quality service delivery.

Key duties include:

- Supporting residents and linking them with their community
- Working with scheme members on service delivery review and increasing resident satisfaction with the renter’s journey.
- Promoting the scheme with particular target communities of renters and employers of key workers in essential services.
- Engaging with service networks in local communities and assessing their capacity to support renters.
- Assisting residents to sustain their tenancies, where required.
- Monitoring and reporting on key service metrics and identifying opportunities for program improvement.

The position is permanent full-time Monday to Friday.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in social work, community engagement or a related professional discipline
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate with empathy and compassion with clients and stakeholders from a range of backgrounds
- Experience successfully managing complex issues to achieve long term goals, with the ability to think outside the box to solve problems or achieve outcomes
- A sound understanding of individualized approaches to community engagement and capacity building
- An understanding of social and affordable housing
- Experience with using the MS Suite of products
