Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analytics: Ownership in data analytics projects from inception to completion, including data collection, analysis, quality control, and output deliverables. Develop solutions with an eye to design and develop effective reports and dashboards for the prescribed audiences.
  • Data Management: Prepare, transform, and load data from various sources into the proper format and databases based on the needs of the project.
  • Problem-Solving: Develop and formulate cost-effective solutions for our technical consumers and clients, using critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Documentation: Develop, document, and implement specifications for new and existing reports and solutions.
  • Collaboration: Consult and collaborate with project managers and stakeholders regarding the status of project requirements and project work.
  • Statistical Analysis: Situational understanding of the statistical measures of central tendency and experience performing regression analyses.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and proficiency using data visualization platforms.
  • Programming Skills: Experience utilizing SQL to build queries, create tables, and views, and develop reports in normalized relational databases.
  • Domain Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the concepts, principles, management, and delivery of data analytics services.
  • Business Acumen: Advanced knowledge and experience in evaluating and recommending analytics solutions.
  • Critical Thinking: Advanced critical thinking skills and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Continuous Learning: Curiosity and a high appetite for continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional Technical Skills: Knowledge and experience in evaluating and recommending analytics solutions.
  • Development Experience: Development experience with or similar languages a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: A knowledge of data analytics industry trends and project management concepts, and experience with the Microsoft Power Platform are also desired.
  • Specialized Applications: Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with a range of specialized applications, software, and tools in the legal vertical.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar field required.
  • Legal Environment: Knowledge and work experience in a legal environment preferred.
  • Certification: Data analysis or data visualization platform certification preferred.
