Job Description

The successful candidate will have the competence to develop students' language proficiency, critical thinking skills and a deep appreciation for literature, enabling them to effectively communicate and analyse complex text. The position requires collaboration with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, delivering engaging and interactive lessons aligned with the curriculum.

Responsibilities

Benefits

The College offers attractive remuneration package including:

  • A competitive annual salary: approximately $104,000 - $140,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience.
  • Fortnightly location allowance of $148.63 for singles and $297.25 for those with dependents.
  • $6000 yearly bonus after a full year of service.
  • Paid long service leave for each year of service within that school at twice the applicable rate.
  • Entitled to take long service leave after completing three years' continuous service at the College.
  • CEWA pays 100% of teachers water bill.
  • Subsidised electricity bills.
  • CEWA provides a gardener for your property once a fortnight.
