Job Title:

A seasoned Project Coordinator is sought to oversee the development and execution of residential or commercial subdivision projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of subdivision development projects, from concept through construction.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate with civil engineers, surveyors, planners, and other consultants during design and permitting stages.

  • Obtain and manage required approvals, permits, and entitlements from municipal and regulatory agencies.

  • Manage tendering and procurement processes; select and oversee contractors and subcontractors.

  • Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with design plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, clients, contractors, and local authorities.

  • Conduct site visits and inspections; resolve on-site issues promptly.

  • Ensure all documentation is maintained, including contracts, change orders, schedules, and reports.

  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines or costs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience managing land development or subdivision projects.

  • Strong understanding of local planning regulations, zoning laws, and permitting processes.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams concurrently.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
