Job Description

As an accomplished and skilled Orthopaedic Surgeon, you will contribute significantly to our Health Service's efforts in delivering high-quality patient care. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and promote excellence within the organisation's Orthopaedic Departments.

You will be responsible for leading the provision of acute orthopaedic surgery services, promoting safe and timely care, and addressing clinical risks and delays in patient care. Additionally, you will educate and supervise junior medical staff and other healthcare workers, working collaboratively with heads of specialty and consultants to manage patient demand.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Orthopaedic surgery experience with special interest in one or more sub-specialties, such as Foot and Ankle, Primary & Revision Hip & Knee Arthroplasty, Hand & Upper Limb, Brachial Plexus, Paediatrics, or Trauma & Reconstruction.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to promoting personalised, safe, and timely care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
