About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipeline Operator to join our team in Roma.

You will play a key part in the operation and maintenance of gas facilities and pipelines, working on state-of-the-art equipment and ensuring safe and reliable energy delivery.

The successful candidate will have trade qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter, with proven experience in the gas transmission or processing industry. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in MS Office.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Operation and maintenance of high-pressure Coal Seam Gas Compression and Processing Facility
  • Undertaking of maintenance in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Liaison with Asset Management and Engineering teams
  • A wide variety of pipeline duties including mechanical work, documentation, and records maintenance
  • Establishing and maintaining a Safe Worksite complying with OHS&E requirements
  • Responding to gas-related incidents and emergencies
  • Intrastate travel and participation in rotating on-call roster
