About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Operations Specialist to operate and maintain gas facilities and pipelines. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our gas transmission and networks.

  • Complete planned and corrective maintenance activities on high-pressure Coal Seam Gas Compression and Processing Facilities.
  • Undertake maintenance in accordance with industry standards and policies.
  • Liaise with Asset Management and Engineering teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform a wide variety of pipeline duties, including mechanical work, documentation, and records management.
  • Establish and maintain a Safe Worksite complying with all OHS&E requirements.
  • Respond to gas-related incidents and emergencies.

This is a challenging role that requires a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with experience working in the gas transmission or gas processing industry. Key skills include:

  • High pressure gas and gas processing experience.
  • Reciprocating/Screw Compressor operation and maintenance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
