Position Overview:
The Inclusion Support Specialist will be instrumental in fostering inclusive practices for children with additional needs. This role involves collaborating with educators to implement effective strategies, managing funding applications, and providing essential guidance on behavior and inclusion methodologies. You will engage with various stakeholders, including parents and support agencies, to ensure every child receives the tailored support they require.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and Inclusion: Collaborate with educators to model inclusive practices, offer behavioral guidance, and ensure accurate documentation of service visits.
- Funding Oversight: Manage funding applications, liaise with relevant agencies, and ensure successful funding approvals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with parents, guardians, and support agencies to discuss funding options and suitability.
- Administrative Tasks: Oversee re-application processes, gather necessary documentation, and assist in the preparation of support plans.
- Professional Development: Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and effectively support educators.
