Job Opportunity: Accounting Professional

A boutique consultancy firm based in Melbourne seeks a skilled accounting professional to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, strong communication (written and oral) skills, and the ability to produce timely and accurate financial reports.

The Role:

  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly/year-end financial statements and reports
  • Bank reconciliations and account management
  • Payroll processing, compliance, and PAYG/BAS management
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations and ATO reconciliation
  • Month end journal entries and balance day adjustments

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication (written and oral) skills and conflict resolution
  • Ability to produce timely and accurate financial reports and analysis
  • Self-management and time prioritisation
