Senior Transport Infrastructure Planner

We are seeking a talented Traffic Modeller to contribute to our transport planning projects in Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will work on data analysis, automation, operational and strategic modelling, report writing, and developing solutions for infrastructure and planning projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality work while collaborating with the wider team to achieve project goals. Your expertise in traffic modelling software, programming skills, and ability to communicate effectively will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
About the Role
- A recognized tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as engineering, transport planning, mathematics, economics, computer science, statistics, or physics.
- Experience with operational traffic modelling software including Aimsun, VISSIM, and intersection analysis tools like SIDRA.
- Basic programming, GIS, and spatial analysis skills, such as Python or ArcGIS, QGIS.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience in transport planning or modelling, ideally within a consulting business environment.
- Effective written communication and report writing skills, with the ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments.
