Advanced Transportation Planner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled transport modeller to join our team in Brisbane. As a transport modeller, you will work on a range of projects locally and nationally, providing high-quality support to our transport planning and advisory business.
Your key tasks will include supporting major travel demand modelling, multi-modal transport studies, network and corridor strategies from project inception to concept and detailed design stages. You will also be responsible for developing, calibrating, and applying transport models used in the assessment of infrastructure design solutions, transport policy options, and economic appraisals.
In addition, you will perform micro, meso, and macro modelling to support multi-modal transport projects and corridor plans. You will need to report and present traffic modelling findings using visualisation software such as Tableau or PowerBi.
To succeed in this role, you will require 5-10 years' experience in a consulting environment or transport modelling related role, with exposure to projects of all sizes. You will need to be proficient in Aimsun and/or Vissim software and have strong knowledge of standards, guidelines, current trends, and legislation to deliver innovative and practical traffic and transport solutions.
You will also need to demonstrate your ability to solve complex technical, strategic, and abstract problems, communicate effectively with clients, and establish strong working relationships. Your passion for training and technical development of team members will be essential.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience, plus many other benefits to ensure your professional development and wellbeing are ongoing.
