**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team at Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel.

This role will be responsible for the effective management and maintenance of the hotel's physical assets, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.

The successful applicant will have a strong background in facilities management, with experience in implementing preventative maintenance programs and supervising maintenance teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and driving the hotel's preventative maintenance program
  • Performing hands-on maintenance tasks as required
  • Supervising maintenance teams, including electrical, mechanical, and cleaning services
  • Coordinating property maintenance, including painting, plastering, and carpentry
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS best practices
  • Managing stock control and supplier relationships
  • Quoting, scheduling, and managing capital expenditure requests
