Blue Tree Group is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director to lead our investment efforts in the real estate sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, managing our investment portfolio, and developing and implementing our investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the investment assessment and due diligence process for potential investments, including sponsor, property, feasibility, and business case analysis.
  • Work closely with our investment analysts and transaction team to prepare internal investment committee recommendations, including detailed financial assessments and investment papers.
  • Manage a select portfolio of investments and development partners, ensuring that our investment objectives are met and our risks are mitigated.
  • Assist the Executive team with new business development, including relationship management, bid proposals, and acquisition strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of our annual investment strategy and business plan.
  • Work with the Chief Investment Officer to evolve and execute our internal portfolio monitoring, risk, and reporting regime, enabling enhanced decision-making.
  • Monitor and evaluate our investments, identifying opportunities for growth and mitigating potential risks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, development, and valuations.
  • Multi-sector experience, with a focus on residential built form, industrial, and commercial sectors.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as real estate valuation, land economics, or construction.
  • Post-graduate degree in finance is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and transaction management skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders both internally and externally.
